Night vision, perimeter security, firefighting, marine and automotive. Best fog and smoke penetration of the three bands — the default choice for most thermal-imaging systems.
MWIR — High Sensitivity
High sensitivity and long-range detection for specialist systems — where reach and detail matter more than raw fog penetration.
SWIR — Sees Through Silicon
Sees through silicon and many plastics — built for wafer inspection, fill-level checking and material sorting rather than open-air surveillance.
